Delilah Robinson has always been into some kind of trouble. Growing up on the Res she was known as Delilah Running-Wind, a name aptly given considering most folks didn't know when she was coming or where she was going.  
     And Delilah took pride in that fact. With the pronouncement of doom that promised a short life hanging over her head, at seventeen she'd blown into Hollywood like a hurricane, determine to take life by the teeth before it took her out for good. 
    Too little too late she learned that there were horrors worse than death when subjected to the whims of men too rich and too cruel to care about others.
    Gorgeous on the outside but scarred and broken within, Delilah learns to breathe again - to grasp hold to that spark of life that recuscitated her the moment she saw a woman triumph against all odds.
    So when a man with the kindest eyes she'd ever seen asked her if she wanted a new life with a fresh start, she'd have been a fool not to jump at the opportunity!
    Only, like every other time in her life, just when the winds started to calm and the dust started to settle, she finds that the fight of her life has only just begun. Can she grab hold to the same faith that saved a woman she knew was destined to fail? And like that woman, could she truly lay down her life for someone else? Because according to that faith, those that are willing to lay down their lives find it. While those that seek to save their lives will lose it.  And Delilah really didn't know which way her winds were going to blow her in the end.
